The Mechanical Engineering Department was established in 2009 and offers a B.E. course in Mechanical Engineering as well as M.Tech. Course in CAD/CAM. Mechanical Engineering involves the creation, design, production, and upkeep of machinery. In today's era, Mechanical Engineering professionals are required to possess the ability to adapt and be creative in new technical domains.

Mechanical Engineers must have expertise not only in their own specialized areas but also in broad interdisciplinary fields. To fulfill these requirements, the Mechanical Engineering department provides undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering with a superb track record of placements.

Properties such as mechanical, thermal, electrical, optical, magnetic, and deteriorative properties are crucial in designing durable components, machines, structures, and so on.
2.	Machine Processing Lab	The Manufacturing Science lab is an essential part of the curriculum, providing students with exposure to various techniques of joining metals and non-metals. The lab includes experiments that involve both machine and welding shops.
3.	Dynamics of Machine	The purpose of the Dynamic of Machines lab is to provide practical knowledge on the design and analysis of mechanisms for a specific type of motion in a machine. By studying the motions and forces of rigid bodies in transmission systems.
4.	Mechanical Measurement and Metrology	Mechanical Measurement and Metrology is essential part of the curriculum. A Mechanical Measurement and Metrology lab is a facility where students and professionals in mechanical engineering or related fields can engage in hands-on activities.
5.	Heat Transfer	The Heat and Mass Transfer Lab is a vital part of the mechanical engineering curriculum. This well-equipped lab includes calibrated instruments that allow students to comprehend the fundamental concepts of the three modes of heat transfer.
6.	Refrigeration & Air conditioning	This laboratory is a mandatory part of the curriculum of mechanical engineering students. The lab is well-equipped, enabling students to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of refrigeration and air conditioning.
7.	Energy Conversion/Engine Lab	An Energy Conversion Lab is a facility where students and researchers can explore and understand the various processes involved in converting one form of energy into another. This type of laboratory is crucial for those studying mechanical engineering.
8.	CAD/CAM Lab	This lab is a part of the curriculum of mechanical engineering students. We have purchased the latest software in the field of CAD/CAM and continuously upgrade it. The lab introduces students to software and equipment used in CAD/CAM.
