The Department of Mechanical Engineering is delighted to offer a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in CAD/CAM, commencing from the academic year 2024–25.

Our department is distinguished by its accomplished and devoted faculty, several of whom have degrees from prestigious institutions such as the IITs and NITs. Their profound expertise, commitment, and inventive pedagogical approaches are pivotal to our academic excellence.

Welcome to the Department of CAD | CAM Engineering!

As the Head of the CAD/CAM Department at GNIT, I am honoured to lead a team committed to advancing the frontiers of CAD/CAM. Our mission is to empower students with the expertise and creativity to drive innovation in CAD/CAM, preparing them for dynamic careers in this interesting field. We aim to promote a community of CAD/CAM engineers equipped to handle complex challenges and shape their future in an advanced manner.

1.	CAD/CAM Lab	This lab is a part of the curriculum of M.Tech CAD/CAM engineering students. We have purchased the latest software in the field of CAD/CAM and continuously upgrade it. The lab introduces students to software and equipment used in CAD/CAM, and trains them to use computers for design and manufacturing. Additionally, students are trained to write CNC programming and simulate tool path simulation for various components.
